And he commanded them, saying, Behold, ye shall lie in wait against the city, even behind the city; go not very far from the city, but be ye all ready. Josh. 8.4.
Settlement of strategies toward enemies are upon different command by God. The enemies to be fought down in Joshua 8 are the people of Ai, as of all evil forces released by tools, vessels, in layers in society and through atmosphere toward our just walk by faith and prayer life. These forces are bending and twisting forces. The bible state them under the category religious and controlling forces, as this is what the world state as psychopaths, narcissists, self-centered ego, abusive and manipulative disorder, anger disorder etc. And these spirits force themselves to live in souls. And when a soul has welcomed these forces, then it is such great power and deceptive tools released with the demons that possess people that they sadly never would like to be delivered by them. As demons prey upon the flesh with unclean spirits and satisfying spirits that make the souls be so into these actions along with the controlling and religious forces. Religious spirits are more present in leadership key positions in organizations, media, science, entertainment, education, politics etc than in the congregation. Still, it is also highly present in congregations. By reason of the account of darkness demand to have key positioning seats in all powerful layers in society, thereby God also has aligned divine appointed mandate to with great wisdom, knowledge and understanding be above these seats in order and rank by heaven. As God ordain them to be positioned at the right key seat in time in any layer in society. So, what darkness demand to have ownership upon in time and think they are upon control by, easily is taken down just by one of these key seats by God. As he is All present, and All mighty.
The conduct of order is Gods heart. And here his heart is for the people. And he is not abusive, nor with any manipulative tools. But by love and just judgement he stirs hearts to know him. When generations walk with him, then he is present in their midst. When they rebuke him, then he withdraws and then the allowance of evil key seats are the governing statement in time. Here is the answer upon evil and good after its manifestation in time.
By this conduct is also one of Joshua's key strategies, as he states as at the first, as a mighty command into the warfare actions. As at the first state in the beginning, first is by Hebrew Bereshit and means in the beginning. What Joshua releases is the conduct of clothing of new beginnings into whatever warfare action they apply. And here one of them is to flee before them, as if the enemy is set into conduct of leadership to win the battle. Not knowing that what Joshua declared them into is at the first, in the beginning. As to be settled into the end, the victory in the cross.
Ahead of this Joshua has stated another command and statement to be attentive by vision. To go lie in wait against the city, the identity, behind its face, its showoff. To be given insight into the depts and the fullness of account within the city, the identity, and here by readiness when they have full info of all its content be ready. The readiness is set in cooperation with Joshua's statement to lie ahead of the city, as if in charge of the battle, to be seen, and as the people of Ai come out to come against them, they are declared into the as in the first, as in the beginning, to think they are winning the battle as Joshua with his armies flee when they come after them. Only with one agenda to draw out all in the city, the identity for it to be settled into as at the first, in the beginning.
And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will flee before them. Josh. 8.5.
For they will come out after us till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them. Josh. 8.6.
The Word of God is to be used by command toward our enemies. That we know its conduct and the mighty working of God as the Lord God of armies upon our command. As God mighty release the Holy Spirit with eagerness wherever the Son of God manifest. And he is the Word that was in the beginning, in all things, and by all things they stand upon after his presence, John 1.1-5. Regardless of the works of darkness in time. As darkness cannot prevail against the Son of God, the Word of God.
We find in the book of Joshua how he mighty uses the Word of God as a command. Expecting God to show up and move mighty upon it. Then he also is given divine assurance and strategies by commandments to follow. Together this gives forward success in the warfare against the enemies of Israel and the promised land.
Pride is always one of the easiest stirred desires in any city, identity that do not walk by humbleness. To make them fully watch all we are at all times always gives us advantage as to be upon watch on any other conduct than the Word of God after its strategies is rebellion and pride. Revealing a hearts gate that has opened itself for the devil and witchcraft. And pride always also has the companion force to stir the mindset to know it all. To be almighty in knowledge and credentials. Only to reveal the inward root in the flesh as stubbornness. And God reveal this to be idolatry. And these two attributes in the heart reveal a conduct of master as the devil as the heart has rejected the king of glory, and by this the promise to walk as kings in the kingdom of God is rejected, Rev. 1.6.
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 1. Sam. 15.23.
Whenever darkness has a desire to put our lives upon continual watch, here we only lay in wait behind their identity. To be given full content of all their inward context. To then stir as they see our presence to come after us with any device, tool or schedule by darkness to take us down, and here we pretend to flee as if they are in control as this stir the pride in controlling power even more to leave everything out of the city, as their identity for it to be known for all the world. As we have settled them into the command as in the first; in the beginning only to declare them into the end, the finished work on the cross.
God Word is one of the cleverest wealth into our lives toward any evil conduct and dark enforcement as long as we keep our flesh under his authority, into the cross. To humbly walk with him and obey his instructions and commandments and then also add the strategies of his Word. As we have no desire for the world to think we got it all together. Nor are we in any devise set with desire to be great, nor that the world think we got the victory or by the world are given positions or wealth. As all our interests are to walk with God and talk with God. And whatever pleased God to be our conduct in our identity, is what we nourish and set strict frames and borders by the author Jesus Christ toward. For the world and darkness only to be upon their watch of him when they watch our lives.
Then ye shall rise up from the ambush, and seize up from the city; for the Lord your God will deliver it into your hand. Josh. 8.7.
The warriors of Joshua had been instructed into the raising up with sudden strategies, as of ambush. To lie in wait until the enemy identified its true account and revealed it to the world and was raised in pride and stubbornness and here Joshua and his armies took advantage of this. To make the enemies by their own selfish actions is led to destruction. To reveal all the identity, as of the city for the world to encounter it and then the identity was taken down by Joshua and his armies and set into fire, after spiritual statement as fire by the Holy Spirit. Whenever we have revealed the identity of our enemies and they themselves as expose who they are to the world, here we release the fire of the Holy Spirit toward the city, the identity for it to be burned down, to never rise again toward us in battle. As the Lord has delivered them into our hands. With the command to not hurt the prey nor the cattle. As if there is any cause of humbleness in the city, the identity to turn from their evil ways. And here if there is any cattle, as of governing identity that has by a turning the mandate by the fivefold ministries, or is by a heart devotion a sheep, a child of God, but have wonders off and if they repent and change their ways, we are to take them under our wings and establish them by order after the commandments by the Lord our God.
And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on fire: according to the commandment the Lord shall ye do, See I have commanded you. Josh. 8.8.
We are given the mighty promised land, the Kingdom of God. This is our inward account in our spirit. In this world there will be continually demand by different settlements in the world in cooperation with darkness to interfere with our walk as a child of the highest God. And for us to release the might of the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. By this is the book of Joshua a very good description upon how this battle manifests toward our walk, our faith and our prayer life. It is our responsibility to protect our heart and our given right as priests and kings of the highest God. Each day walk with him and talk with him to be given instructions and counsel in this world of the demand of the night as it with abuse and subtleness demand ownership also upon the day.
Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain. He therefore that ministered to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Gal. 3.3-5.
One of the main targets by darkness is for us to be in our flesh. To make any suffering we have had because of our walk as Christians be in vain. It does not matter what price you have paid, or how much you have suffered because of obedience in previous walk if you step out of the works by the spirit into the work of your own flesh. Then it will all be in vain. And this darkness knows.
And by any means try to tempt us to live by the law, upon own accountability, own strength and power and leave the just walk by faith.
If that is the case in your life, then easily turn to God, who is willing and eager to come and talk with out and walk with you in the very same moment you turn to him and repent from your ways. To again walk after your hearing, and here let the hearing guide your footsteps by balance after the weight you are given in your talk with God. For him to work mighty through the settlement of your steps and release the power of the Spirit of God upon your command.
