His mercy seat; A strategic plan

Hilasterion is the Greek word for mercy seat in Hebr. 9.5. It means that which makes expiation or propitiation. We find the translation of this four places in the bible. Rom. 3.25, Hebr. 9.5, 1. John 2.2 and 4.10.
It is the removal of the sin that we find talked about in Ezek. 43.13-15.

In the tabernacle, in the inner place, the holy of the holy, on top of the ark, we find a lid called the mercy seat.
Here rested the cloud or visible symbol of the divine presence. This was the seat God is seated. Where he dispenses mercy toward man as the atonement is sprinkled with blood.

The mercy seat is the very place where the people of God was concealed 
from the judgement of the Law.

Our mercy seat is where we are placed seated on top of the law, where the golden ark are the very Word of God covering the law, and we are to sit along with God our Father as the blood of Jesus are shed for our sins.

To be rooted into the core of his mercy seat empower our faith. Making our feet with firmness to stand in any storms.
